We have talked about acrylic nails extensively in previous blog post, so now we want to talk about how much it will cost you to fix an acrylic nail and how much it will cost you to get your acrylic nails off.
How Much Does It Cost To Get Acrylic Nails On
I can’t give you an exact cost to get acrylic nails because it all depends on the location, the ambience of the nail salon, the experience of your nail tech, the design you want to do on your acrylic nails, some nail technicians charge $5 per design that increases your nail bill, the kind of service and experience you want to get whilst getting your acrylic nails done, the type of brands and products used, this included the type of polish used, the type of acrylic nails you want to get, the shape of your acrylic nails.
Also the colour of acrylic nails you want might increase the price you pay to get your acrylic nails done, for instance nail technicians charge more for white and pink acrylic nails as they require extra care and maintenance.
If you used a coloured acrylic powder rather than using a plain acrylic powder and then painting over it with nail polish you will get charged more. Some nail technicians will charge you more for longer acrylic nails.
The money you will pay to get your acrylic nails at a local shop will be less than the money you will pay to get your acrylic nails at a nail salon.
It is much more expensive to get your acrylic nails done at an hotel because of the quality of service they will render.
Also remember that refilling your acrylic nails will also cost some extra money.
If you are trying to be frugal I will advise you to fill your nails at least once every month.
Refilling your acrylic nails is way cheaper than when you get a fresh set of acrylic nails.

- Acrylic nails start from $35 – $50

How Much Does It Cost To Take Off Your Acrylic Nails?
Now you want to switch up your acrylic nails, get a fresh set of acrylic nails or even observe a nail break this means it is time to take off your acrylic nails.
Taking off your acrylic nails does not cost you as much as fixing them.
I know you might be thinking of being cheap right now by taking off your acrylic nails by yourself in the comfort of your home but it is better to pay that little price to take off your acrylic nails by visiting a nail saloon where a professional nail technician takes off your nails.
It’s so much better as you will reduce the chances of hurting yourself, getting nail infection and so much more.
That extra $10 is so worth it in my opinion. I mean if you can pay $50 upwards to fix your acrylic nails, spending about $10 – $15 to take them off shouldn’t be a problem.
It is also important that you don’t pay if your nails technicians just tries to yank off your acrylic nails off your finger nails as you can do that by yourself and you are at the nail salon so that it can be taking off gently with optimum care.
Going to the nail salon to take off your acrylic nails can be seen as a form of self-care.
Just imagine it as spa day but for your finger nails.
Budgeting
Getting your acrylic nails done and taking them off can be a huge part of our expenses.
Due to the fact that fixing acrylic nails regularly is not good for the health of our finger nails, I will suggest we leave fixing of acrylic nails for special occasions like your birthday, a loved one’s wedding, seasonal holidays.
This way we get to spend that extra cash during special occasions which makes spending the money all worth it and during off seasons you get to save the money you would have used to fix your acrylic nails and take them off or use the money for something else.
